Since its launch on 24 April, more than 17,000 people have viewed the 30-minute Aged Care Quality Standards video, which was produced in collaboration with digital aged care education organisation, Altura Learning, and the ACQSC.
The video was designed to help educate staff about how the new Standards apply in both residential and home care settings, including:
- Understanding the framework that supports the Standards;
- Identifying the eight standards that make up the Standards;
- Explaining how service provider’s performance is assessed against the Standards; and
- Recognising the role of the organisation in meeting the Standards
