The up-and-coming provider has purchased a 5,473sqm site at the property developer’s Claremont on the Park development, 9km west of the Perth CBD, which will cater for up to 115 residents in apartments, suites and concessional options.
The site will also include an 80-place childcare centre; fully serviced assisted living apartments for seniors or people living with a disability; and space for health-related services such as physiotherapy and chiropractor. Oryx will develop and maintain ownership of the facilities after they are completed.
Designed by award-winning architects HASSELL Studio, Oryx Managing Director Nita Peploe says the purchase is an important addition to the company’s growing portfolio.
Established in 2014, Oryx Communities is a partnership between Ms Peploe, Toby Browne-Cooper and James Turnbull, who have a combined 45 years’ experience in this aged care industry.
