The facility will be part of a new Banco Group development that has just been approved for the former Forges site on Albert Street in Footscray, 5km from the CBD.

The development – which includes 202 apartments, a six-screen cinema complex, supermarket and retail – will be housed across two 12- and 15-storey buildings after Banco was forced to drop the original building heights of 13- and 19-storeys.
