The retirement village operator has 144 people on its waiting list for its Glenhaven village in Sydney’s Hills District.
It is now in talks with Hills Shire Council to create a third stage of development to meet with demand.
“Clients who visit Glenhaven join the waitlist because they want to be close to family, friends and established medical support. The gardens, and being pet friendly, have been the most important factors when deciding,” said Regional Manager, Gail Eyres.
“They also see the village facilities as an extension of their home. We can build homes and apartments with fantastic designs but it’s the community that really matters.”
