Warrigal Care, NSW have made a Town Planning application to Wollongong City Council for a Retirement and Aged Care facility of 120 beds and 36 apartments. The complex incorporates several community, retail and service facilities in a piazza setting, inviting the community to utilise and engage in shared activities and space

Breaking news: Government delays new Aged Care Act

Minister for Health and Ageing Mark Butler and Minister for Aged Care and Seniors Sam Rae announced this morning that commencement of the new Aged Care Act on 1 July 2025 will be delayed four months until 1 November 2025.
