The Not For Profit has received approval to demolish its clubrooms at its flagship Air Force Memorial Estate retirement village in Bull Creek, 15km south of Perth, and replace them with 57 Independent Living Units, plus a new clubhouse with restaurant, cafe, bar and bowling club room.

Royal Australian Air Force Association WA (RAAFA) chief executive John Murray says the new building will provide housing for seniors who want access to support services as they aged.

In total, RAAFA WA has six villages and five aged care facilities across WA. As we covered here, their 102-bed Alice Ross-King Care Centre in Bull Creek was the first in the state to offer a resident-directed care model.
