GemLife unveils plans for 145-home land lease community in Bundaberg

1 min read

A proposed land lease community at Burnett Heads is back on the table – this time under GemLife, following its July ASX float and acquisition of Adrian Puljich’s Aliria business.

The development application, lodged by Innovative Planning Solutions on behalf of Gemstone Lifestyle No 3 Pty Ltd, is now on public exhibition.

Plans outline more than 145 new villas and units to be delivered over five stages by GemLife on 7.286ha of vacant land at Burnett Heads in Bundaberg, a three-minute drive to the beach and 374km north of Brisbane.

Future residents would have a choice of accommodation options: 77 standard lots, 34 reduced lots, 34 corner villa lots, and one special lot. The community would  also feature a country club, tennis courts, bowling green, swimming pool, and recreational open spaces.

The Burnett Heads project is one of eight former Aliria developments now in GemLife’s pipeline, reflecting its accelerated push into new markets following the float.
