Look at the house prices at Stockland’s B by Halcyon, UDIA National Awards winner

1 min read

Launched in February 2020, only 15 sites remain at the former sugar cane farm in Buderim, 91km north of Brisbane, that spans 25ha surrounded by nature.

The first two-bedroom Stockland B By Halcyon homes sold for around $600,000 and now residents must pay at least $1.1 million.

"Homeowners have access to six hectares of private open space and recreational areas, including a club, bar, indoor and outdoor pool. Earlier this year B by Halcyon homeowners also celebrated the opening of the Sports Pavilion providing access to tennis and pickleball courts, a lounge with a fireplace, barbecue kitchen and pizza oven, as well as the new Central Park with walking tracks, a lakeside pontoon, an off-leash dog area and an open space amphitheatre," Stockland Halcyon Regional Project Director, Chris Carley, said.

“Sustainability is a core value at B by Halcyon. Homeowners have access to a Tesla community use vehicle, and electric vehicle charging stations. Each home comes equipped with solar panels as standard which can help homeowners save money on their energy bills.  The community facilities at B also have their own solar panels and Tesla Powerwall batteries to help leave a lighter footprint on the earth."

Stockland B by Halcyon was awarded Excellence in Seniors’ Living at the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) National Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner in Melbourne on 20 March 2024.

Entrants in the Seniors’ Living category were judged on several factors including environmental consideration, design innovation, sales results, commitment to the broader community, as well as meeting the specific needs of retirement-age homeowners.
