Diagnosed in 2021, league legend Royce Simmons OAM is showing that with grit, purpose and the right mindset, you can keep pushing back against dementia.

“Keeping busy is key to delaying it – keep your mind and body active,” he said.

Royce’s Big Walk for 2025 finishes in Mudgee, 261km northwest of Sydney's CBD, on Friday, 22 August, in time for the NRL match between his beloved Panthers against current table toppers Canberra Raiders.
