The Royal Freemasons’ Homes of Victoria has acquired the 42-bed nursing home (pictured) and the 26-unit Canadian Pines Village in Ballarat from Melbourne-based property developer Equisent Aged Care.

The deal also includes two lots of vacant land which will be used for extra car parking and the future expansion of the nursing home to 90 beds, which Equisent will build.

Royal Freemasons currently has 11 retirement villages and 10 nursing homes, plus two retirement apartments, mostly in Melbourne, and has been working towards expanding its services in regional VIC.
