South Australian provider ECH has appointed Claire Scapinello, former Chief Digital Officer at RSL LifeCare NSW, as its new CE.

Claire (above), who has more than 20 years of experience across aged care, retirement, and related fields, is a customer experience and engagement specialist.

Rosina Hislop (pictured), Chair of the ECH Board, says Claire is “passionate about placing customers at the heart of decision-making” and “committed to improving the lives of older South Australians”.

“Claire’s passion for listening, understanding, and responding to the needs and expectations of customers today, and in the future, will result in delivering the best possible client experience. With her warm and engaging style, she will continue to engage and empower our team.

“Claire has shown in previous roles that she consistently identifies areas that add value, while listening and acting on insights that drive continuous improvement by taking complex problems and distilling them into simple solutions,” she said.

Claire says she is “delighted” to be joining ECH at an exciting time, and will work to build on its existing capabilities.

“It’s my belief that by creating strong relationships, developing, and nurturing teams and co-creation of great ideas you can deliver remarkable results.

“I am committed to supporting and improving the wellbeing and lives of all within the ECH community and look forward to focusing on the needs and expectations of our clients, residents and staff today, and into the future.

“By building strong communities we will continue to foster concepts of promoting independence, wellbeing and living at home for longer,” she said.

Claire replaces Dr David Panter, who left ECH in January for a new role as CEO of Minda.
