A gastroenteritis outbreak at a Prospect aged care facility, Tyler Village has resulted in a lockdown. A spokesman for the Eliza Purton group of nursing homes, which operates Tyler Village, could not be contacted for comment. The latest incident follows a gastroenteritis outbreak at Launceston General Hospital in October when a 32-bed ward was isolated.
