New entrant plans integrated retirement living and aged care rooms

A State Significant Development Application has been lodged for Hampton Seniors Housing in the affluent suburb of Roseville, 17km northwest of Sydney’s CBD.
A Scoping Report by Urbis reveals that the applicant is Hampton Roseville Pty Ltd, with Marchese Partners I Life3A appointed as the architect.
The 3,484msq site contains two single-storey dwelling houses, a single-storey dwelling house and a residential flat building.
The proposal is to redevelop the site for seniors housing accommodation. The extent of the proposed works include:

- Site preparation and demolition of existing structures;
- Construction of an 11 -storey building with two level basement levels car park and servicing areas;
- 82 Independent Living Units across Levels 1–10;
- Communal facilities at Levels 1 and 2 (lounge, dining, gym, pool, cinema, library, etc.);
- Ground floor aged care facilities (15 RAC rooms plus communal and back-of-house spaces);
- Minor alterations and refurbishment to the heritage-listed house Killiecrankie.
- Two-level basement car park, servicing areas and site works; and
- Landscaping and external works.
