Local residents are fighting plans for a 64 bed care facility being built by Angels Health Services Australia, which will accommodate elderly members of the local Chinese community. Residents say the facility will increase traffic on the street, which also has a 100 and bed care facility 700m away. The operator has been working with Council for 12 months.
