The rapid growth of Harvest/Gateway Lifestyle Residential Parks - five years/eight parks/1500 sites/$90 million in assets

Harvest director Todd Pepper presented their rapid growth, having purchased and expanded eight parks over five years, with all but one located in metropolitan areas. In addition they have 400 sites available for development over the next three years. He outlined the drivers for incoming purchasers as:
• 35% lifestyle
• 25% affordability
• and 20% “no more hassles” with the family home
Their target is to supply a new home for 60% of the median house price in the surrounding area and a weekly site rental of $135. Harvest do not charge a DMF. They estimate there is a demand to 15,000 new homes a year under this formula.

Simon Owen reaffirmed that Ingenia is committing to manufactured home parks as well but is concentrating on regional locations.
