Arcadia Group the latest to use a home care provider in villages

1 min read

The Perth-based retirement living and developer has signed an agreement with national home care provider KinCare to visit its villages.

Arcadia Group is the latest village operator to use an outside provider.

“We launched the partnership at The Beaumont, however the service will be available to all residents across Arcadia Group villages,” said Natalia Dyer, Arcadia Group’s Chief Operating Officer.

“A KinCare representative will be based at all our villages (except Geraldton) one day per week to familiarise themselves with the residents to build rapport and trust. We are hoping that this service will encourage our residents to seek advice should they wish and educate them on in-home services.

“Though we envisage that residents will build a trusting relationship with KinCare, it’s important that residents are able to exercise choice when choosing a home care provider. We have already seen some residents who use other in-home service providers, speak to KinCare to ensure they are getting the services they deserve. So, we see this initiative as a great advantage for all residents that reside in an Arcadia Group community.

“Our aim with this initiative it to ensure that our residents are getting the right care from an experienced provider, to allow them to live a fulfilling independent lifestyle for as long as they can.”

Arcadia Group, founded in 1999, has six villages in WA and three in Victoria. Last week, it announced it had bought Lattitude Lakelands in Mandurah, 60km from Perth.
