Arcadia Group’s Steven Daly is Retirement Living Council’s Village Manager of the Year

1 min read

Steven Daly, who has been with Arcadia Group for nine years, has been named Best Village Manager of the Year at the National Retirement Living Summit on the Gold Coast, QLD.

“I started with Arcadia Group in August 2020 at Arcadia Waters Maddington where they had management issues and a very divided village. I was brought in to sort out some historical issues with residents and engage with the staff,” he told The SOURCE.

“I love the challenge of retirement living as the issues are so diverse from maintenance issues, to refurbishing and selling properties to relationship breakdowns within the village.”

Steven, originally from Scotland, UK, previously was employed as MercyCare’s Service Manager East Metro, Roshana Care Group’s Operations Manager and as BaptistCare’s Facility Manager.

“I have been a manager for over 20 years in property management, disability services and aged care, spending nine years in aged care in Australia as an aged care facility manager,” he added.

“I love engaging with people and having fun. I certainly feel I make a difference and I also feel that I get recognised for my achievements.”
