Aveo’s $60 million Palmview retirement community (QLD) nears completion as demand for “sea change” rises in older Australians

1 min read

The Sunshine Coast community has opened its first-stage display villas to the public as new research from Aveo reveals an increasing demand in ‘sea-change’ options – with one in six (13%) of the next generation of retirees intending to live near the coast.

Aveo Group CEO Geoff Grady said that Palmview has been designed to address demand for living options that cater to older Australians’ desire for ‘holiday-like’ retirement.

As we reported here, Aveo got the green light for the 138-independent-unit village last March.

Prices for the modern two- and three-bedroom villages start at $375,000 and the entire development is expected to be completed in June.

Palmview is Aveo’s third retirement community on the Sunshine Coast.
