The Not For Profit is set to commence work on its new five-storey West Lakes facility (pictured, 14 kilometres north-west of the Adelaide CBD) after announcing the project will be built by experienced aged care construction company, Kennett Builders.
The facility will form part of the broader $1 billion WEST housing and retail development, which is redeveloping the former Football Park site (the home of Adelaide AFL) into a residential and commercial master-planned community.
Once complete, it will include 125 private rooms and apartments and an 18-bed dementia memory support unit.
UnitingSA has an additional six aged care facilities and five retirement villages across the state.
