Aura Holdings’ Co-Founder and Director Tim Russell said overwhelming demand for “high-end” living convinced him to turn an eight two-bedroom apartment block into four luxurious apartments of 215sqm at The Ninth Middle Ridge overlooking Toowoomba Golf Club.
The apartments - three-bedrooms, with a fourth possible in an additional multi-purpose room, two bathrooms, study, butler’s pantry and balconies from a bedroom and the living room – will sell from $1.2 million. Tim said the original proposed two-bedroom apartments would have sold for $600,000 or more.
“Most of the retirement products in Toowoomba are traditional broad acre brick and tile and there are a couple of land lease communities on the edge of town. What we are offering is the pinnacle of retirement living, unseen before on the Darling Downs, and there is a demand for it,” Tim said.
“A lot of country people come from large blocks and are seeking high end apartments. These four redesigned apartments are on the edge of the golf course and views from the balconies will be stunning.”
Three other apartments have sold for up to $1.195 million.
