Aveo announced a 9% increase in operating profit to $63.4 million for the six months to December despite a drop in resales of 71 ILUs (25%) to 212 ILUs compared to the same period last year. With 80 villages (including 35 they manage only), this equates to a sales average of 0.44 ILUs per village per month. Aveo was able to achieve an average price increase of 4% on resales over the six months (8% annualized).
By similar comparison, we reported last week that Prime Trust reported a 30% drop in unit sales for Jan June 08.
