The not-for-profit providers Paling Court aged care home at Camden was the only aged care facility on the list of finalists and was nominated under the Public Architecture category for the awards which were held on July 1.
Designed by architectural firm Jackson Teece, the 132-bed site incorporates natural light, cross-ventilation and rural views into its design and includes three separate courtyard spaces and a roof garden.
Opened in 2015, the home also sits next to the historic Carrington House.
