Churches of Christ Care QLD’s Toowoomba aged care service at their Nubeena village

Local media had reported that over 400 staff hours would be cut from their co-located Nubeena and Numylo aged care services in Toowoomba.

Churches of Christ Care tells us they are working closely with staff regarding changes to nursing hours, with CEO David Swain stating any changes will not impact on the delivery of care.

“We will continue to be amongst the best staffed service in the state: even after implementing changes that are currently being discussed with staff,” he said.

“We intend to have registered nurse staff rostered at our Toowoomba Aged Care Service all day, every day.”
