1 min read

Resthaven is one of SA’s largest retirement living and aged care operators. It’s CEO, Darren Birbeck, said its Retirement Living portfolio, currently sitting within the Residential Services division, will transfer to Community Services, under Mel Ottaway (pictured right), Executive Manager Community Services.

Mel’s title will change to Executive Manager Community Services and Retirement Living.

This follows last month's appointment by Resthaven of Matthew Cragg as its first Retirement Living Operations manager

The Not For Profit, which employs 3,300 people and has an annual turnover of $260 million, has been serving the community since 1935.

Tina Cooper (pictured right), currently Executive Manager Residential and Retirement Living, will transfer to the new role of Executive Manager Clinical Governance and Operational Excellence. The Strategy and Governance portfolio will be shared between this new division and a new Senior Manager Strategy role.

Following a national search, Kelly Geister has been appointed Executive Manager Residential Services, starting on 4 December 2023.
