Gillian McFee, the Director heading up UnitingCare Ageing NSW.ACT, is getting personal with the upcoming election. She has created her own blog called Who cares anyway (at www.whocaresanyway.com.au) which she invites you to visit. Her explanation: I want to challenge the way we care for older people and find better ways. She says she wants to inspire people to take action and put pressure on the political parties.
She is in an ideal position to comment. UnitingCareNSW.ACT is Australias largest single provider of aged care with 89 facilities plus she has 79 retirement villages.
