A growing number of older people who should be in residential aged care continue to be stranded in our nation's hospitals.
Dr Rodney Jilek, founder of dementia care provider Community Home Australia, held 10 beds available for nine months after he reached an agreement with Nepean Hospital to accept patients waiting for permanent aged care.
But the deal never eventuated.
