Greengate takes National Property Council award for Best Retirement Village Development

Greengate Group has been awarded Best Retirement Village Development for St Brigid’s Green Maroubra by the Property Council at their Innovation and Excellence Awards held last Friday night.

An integrated care village including 89 apartments and 66 aged care suites in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, St. Brigid’s Green opened in 2015 and is one of four villages in their portfolio, all joint ventures with the Catholic Church – St. Peter’s, St. Brigid’s, St. Patrick’s and St. Luke’s.

Launched in 2005 by Andrew Sweeney, Howard Smith and Matthew Fisher, Greengate also has the Myer Family Company as a major investor.

The other award nominees were:
- Little Bay Apartments (NSW) – Lendlease
- Mark Moran Little Bay (NSW) – Mark Moran Group
- Living Choice Fullarton (SA) – Living Choice
- Peninsula Grange Retirement Village (VIC) – Australian Unity
- Victoria Grange Retirement Community (VIC) – Australian Unity
