Construction began on the 160-bed Karingal Green Aged Care Precinct – 23 kilometres east of Perth’s CBD – in June last year.
The project is supported by the Commonwealth Government’s Department of Health, which contributed $12 million of capital funding, $41 million in senior debt from National Australia Bank and subordinated finance from The Fire & Emergency Services Superannuation Fund, according to The West Australian.
Karingal Green is the first of three new developments for Hall & Prior in Perth over the next two years.
The family-owned provider is also investing $300 million into health and aged care infrastructure development across WA over the next four years – including the redevelopment of Bayswater Retirement Village in the above story.
