As of 3pm 6 April 2020, there were 5,795 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Australia – an increase of 108 cases from 3pm the previous day (but fewer people being tested over the weekend) – according to the Department of Health.
39 Australians have now died from the virus with over 302,000 people tested across the country.
