Huge seven-tower Gold Coast development with retirement village and aged care gets tick of approval

Gold Coast Council has approved the $550 million redevelopment of the 3.2 hectare site of the former Gold Coast Hospital in Southport which will boast seven towers ranging from 16 to 25 storeys including retirement, aged care, residential apartments, retail space, offices, health care services and food and drink outlets.

‘Queen Street Village’, which is being developed by Brisbane-based developer Property Solutions, will now be built over the next six to eight years.
