A capital city Roadshow is being staged with Private and not-for-profit provider CEOs invited to capital city workshops. The objective is to frankly explore a proactive vision of aged care in Australia, to be submitted to the Royal Commission.
Over 140 CEOs have signed up so far.
Key themes will include: –
- models of care
- governance and leadership
- policy initiatives and innovation
LASA and Grant Thornton’s goal is to design a shared vision for the high quality, safe and sustainable age services sector Australia needs.
Sean Rooney (pictured above left), CEO of LASA says,
“The Royal Commission has put a spotlight on areas where the sector can definitely improve.”
“By coming together as an industry we can collectively design solutions to help make the aged care system better now and into the future,”
Darrell Price (pictured above right), National Head of Health & Aged Care, Grant Thornton Australia says,
“A cross-sector approach will allow industry leaders to not only share their challenges, but to also create and commit to a shared vision of what we would like the age services sector to look like, and to better understand what it will take to achieve this.”
The workshops are:
- Adelaide – Tuesday 30th July
- Perth – Thursday 1th August
- Hobart – Monday 5th August
