Lendlease breaks ground on intergenerational residences next to Melbourne retirement village

1 min read

Lendlease has turned the first sod on Gramercy Terraces, the residential portion of its intergenerational living precinct planned for Richmond, Victoria.

Built on the old Channel Nine site, the development is planned to comprise 31 three-level terrace homes of three to four bedrooms each, and will neighbour the retirement living portion, Ardency Kennedy Place.

According to Nathan Cockerill, Managing Director, Retirement Living, Lendlease, Gramercy is part of a new product offering for Lendlease Retirement Living.

“A future aged care site is also planned to offer a continuum of care for residents as their needs increase.

“Purposefully designed with families, downsizers and investors in mind, the new offer is proving popular with the first stage nearly sold out and the final stage set to launch early (this) year,” he said.

A display centre for the project opened in February last year.
