Living Choice lodges plans for first stage of $40M village at Adelaide Golf Club

1 min read

The private operator has applied to build 42 two- and three-bedroom villas – 14 single-storey and 24 double-storey – on land formerly part of the Flagstaff Hill Golf Club, 17km south of the Adelaide CBD.

According to Adelaide Now, community consultation will now start on the project, which also includes a second stage of 108 apartments ranging from one- to four-bedrooms and a new clubhouse with three levels of apartments above.

The Club sold the land to Living Choice last year to clear its debt. As we covered here, it has been one of the few village and sports clubs developments supported by local government.

In June, the SA Government revoked an open space proclamation on the section of land at the Club to allow the development to go ahead.

Living Choice tells us they have already had strong enquiries from club members and nearby residents and hope to start construction to start in 2019.
