Industry veteran and former Village Care CEO Loretta Byers has been made a Life Member of RSL Care SA after 12 years on its Board.
Ms Byers (pictured), who is already a Life Member of the Retirement Living Council (RLC), has many years of experience with both retirement villages and aged care.
According to RSL Care SA, she has brought “a wealth of knowledge and expertise in retirement living, aged care, governance and management” since she joined in 2009.
“Loretta was instrumental in the implementation of many reforms undertaken and challenges faced by the organisation during her 12-year tenure as a Board Member, with five of those years as Chair.
“We sincerely thank Loretta for her dedication and commitment, and for the positive contribution she has made to ensure RSL Care SA’s success well into the future, and welcome her as our newest Life Member,” the organisation said.
Ms Byers is also the mother of the DCM Institute Director – Leadership and Engagement Jodie Prosser.
