SA celebrity chef Maggie Beer has joined the state governments Country Health SA to champion fresh, high quality and better presented food in care facilities. She says she wants to bring a much needed change to the regional aged care homes approach to food.
Beer states she developed her passion for this cause after being named the 2010 South Australian of the Year. Good food is important to everyone, but more so for someone who has limited control over their future.
