Maggie Beer dedicates rest of her life to better food in aged care

Celebrity chef and providor, Adelaide’s Maggie Beer, has launched the Maggie Beer Foundation (A Good Life for All) to improve cooking in aged care facilities. The strategy is to identify the industry’s best providers of quality food, provide a recognition program and use them as a benchmark for others to follow.

The Foundation has enlisted three Adelaide care facilities for a pilot program –Ridgehaven Residential Care Centre, Abbeyfield Nursing Home and Mount Pleasant Aged Care Home.
