1 min read

Husband and wife team Evette and Mark Moran on Friday night received three ‘Global’ awards in London:
Design in Over-50s Housing, Architectural (Vaucluse)
Aged Care Innovation and Practice (Little Bay)
Developing within the trend to draw clientele internationally (Group)

The Mark Moran Group commenced in 2010 in Sydney when they purchased the partly developed St Luke's Little Bay care facility which had been struggling for occupancy. They quickly filled it at premium prices and have completed the further development.

Mid next year their second care facility at Vaucluse (Sydney). It is a 105 Suite 6 star midrise development with an average price of $1.5M. It has already achieved 80% sales.

Mark Moran comes from 20 years with the Moran Health Group family. He and Evette are investing heavily in customer culture and product differentiation - but they refer to as a holistic integrated care concept.

“We strive for a holistic approach to aged care centred around the mind, body and spirit. We focus on lifestyle, health, fitness and happiness. We have learnt that it is only through investing in the development of our people, as well as our services, that we can truly deliver on our brand promise. We want our employees to enjoy coming to work, celebrate their work and share their happiness with the residents under their care”.

This approach and their success was recognised this week with their win in the inaugural PwC Aspire Awards in Sydney for private/family businesses in the Culture and Values category and runner-up in the Societal Impact category for philanthropy and community engagement.

All up they have eight Australian and international awards this year. The (photos: top – David Bacon, Property Director receiving the London awards, bottom - Evette and Mark Moran).
