Fronditha Care has opened a new 90-bed home in St Albans, Victoria, ahead of schedule, with more than 60 residents already moved in.
The new facility includes a 30-bed memory support unit, plus amenities such as a private theatre, a library, a hair salon, and a chapel.Faye Spiteri-Tsolakis OAM, Fronditha Care CEO, praised the team for getting the facility completed and open quickly.
“Despite ongoing lockdowns and imposed restrictions, it has delivered the $22 million project before its due date.
“The completion of the St Albans facility, during the global COVID -19 pandemic is a real testament to the team and Fronditha Care’s commitment to ensuring residents have the best care in the most wonderful accommodation and environment possible,” she said.
Fronditha Care’s first 30-bed facility opened in St Albans in 1997.
