New retirement living deal caps “most significant quarter in InteliCare’s history”
Intelicare expands into retirement living with new deals
- New sector entry: Warrigal deal marks move into retirement living
- Tech rollout: Sensors to monitor wellbeing across 65 villas
- Major contract: Follows $8.8M mecwacare agreement
- Growth signal: Rising demand for data-driven care solutions
The ASX-listed software developer, which provides AI-enabled solutions to the sector, has inked two signficant deals in the March 2026 quarter.
InteliCare has signed a $200,000 three-year deal with NSW South Coast operator Warrigal for its sensor-based monitoring solution to be installed across 65 two-bedroom retirement villas, enabling the monitoring of resident wellbeing, safety and activity patterns in real-time.
“Entry into the retirement living sector is an important milestone for Intelicare and further validates the relevance of our platform beyond traditional residential aged care settings,” Intelicare Non-Executive Director, Tim Chapman, said.
“We believe the ability to support older Australians to live independently and safely for longer represents a significant opportunity for our technology.”
The Warrigal deal follows the five-year deal, worth $8.8 million on completion, with Victorian operator mecwacare, which is InteliCare’ s biggest contract in its history.
“Execution of two pivotal commerical agreements validate both the scalability and real world application of our technology. The landmark partnership with mecwacare, alongside our initial deployment into the retirement living sector with Warrigal, not only materially expand our contracted revenue base but also demonstrate the growing demand for data-driven care solutions across multiple aged care settings,” added Tim.
InteliCare will provide access to its software platform, IoT sensor technologies and implementation services, establishing a potential pathway for InteliCare to expand the deployment across Warrigal’s broader network of retirement living and aged care.
Warrigal CEO Jenni Hutchins said the InteliCare platform provides valuable insights into residents’ daily activity patterns, helping identify changes in wellbeing and enabling earlier intervention where appropriate.
“We are pleased to be partnering with InteliCare and look forward to exploring how this technology can support both our residents and our care teams,” she said.
