All Black captain Ritchie McCaw is just one of the rugby elite that has been a long term investor in our sectors. Since 2005 he has quietly invested small strategic amounts in 13 retirement and aged care businesses. He has invested his capital in privately held businesses rather than listed vehicles. Other All Black investors in the sector include Dan Carter and Kieran Read.
