Nicola Roxon appointed new Independent Chair of HESTA

The former Federal Health Minister and Attorney-General will take on the role at the super fund after current chair Angela Emslie steps down on 31 December 2018.

Ms Roxon is already active in the health and retirement sector. She is currently the Chair of Bupa Australia and New Zealand as well as a Non-Executive Director of land lease operator Lifestyle Communities.

HESTA focuses on those working in the Health and Community Services Sector and has over 860,000 members and more than $46 billion of members’ assets under management.
