A public / private ‘cradle to the grave’ service has been announced in Springfield, between Brisbane and Ipswich. Based on 52 hectares, it will feature a one stop shop of GPs, dental health, a private acute care hospital, aged care, ‘hundreds of retirement ILUs,’ and allied health care. Mater Health Services has joined with the University of Queensland and Springfield Land Corporation, led by Dr. Maha Sinnathamby.
