Remote retirement TAS village Northbourne Park to double its size to 137 homes

The Northbourne Park village

The Scottsdale village located 62km northeast of Launceston will provide “badly affordable residences for old north-east residents”.

A community not-for-profit, their chairman Robin Thompson, equates retirement villages to essential infrastructure for the region.

The units will be designed to support private home care for ageing residents.
