Some good news for operators who are keen to engage with the Royal Commission but struggling in the current situation to find the time to complete a submission.
The closing date for submissions has been extended by two months to 30 June 2020 after last week’s announcement that the Commissioners had suspended all hearings, workshops and group consultations until at least the end of May.
The Commissioners say they recognise that meaningful engagement with the aged care sector during the coronavirus pandemic is not possible and will therefore allow more time for their involvement.
