RSL Care SA moves ahead on plans for $22M 72-bed aged care home in Murray Bridge – designed for coronavirus and flu risks

1 min read

The Not For Profit says that the new home – named Romani after the World War I battle between Turkey and British and Australian forces – will be a state-of-the-art facility designed to take into account the risks associated with the coronavirus and influenza.

Every room will have its own private bathroom with three distinct areas of accommodation for residents that can be managed completely separately from each other as needed, plus separate resident dining areas in each wing and many small meeting spaces placed throughout the home.

Plans are currently being assessed by the local Council.

The home is due to open in early 2023.
