The RVA National Conference was staged in Perth this week, with over 470 delegates attending and a hotbed of speculation generated on what will 2009 and beyond look like for the industry. The attendance was significant given the distant location and the financial crisis. The degree of interest in it as a forum was recognized by each state village residents association attending (at considerable cost to their resident members) and the near total non attendance of senior executives from Aveo, Babcock & Brown Communities, Prime Trust (non RVA members) and Macquarie Bank.
