Stockland and Anglican Retirement Villages finally win $250 million development originally stalled on climate change argument

One local resident took the South Coast NSW Sandon Point development all the way to the High Court, arguing that it was ecologically unsustainable because planners had not considered increased flood risks resulting from climate change – meaning climate change will cause the seas will rise. The project had stalled four years. ARV wishes to build an aged care facility while Stockland will build residential dwellings.
