The partnership will install the Swift system in 315 rooms at three of the provider’s facilities followed by its four other homes over the next two years.
Residents will have access to the listed communications providers’ ‘My Family’ and ‘My Community’ applications which allow residents to stay connected with family, friends and community. The package also includes a range of bespoke aged care content, Hollywood movies and pay TV.
It’s just one of several contracts Swift now has with aged care providers including McKenzie Aged Care and BlueCross. Last year, the company also invested $7.5 million to buy the Sydney-based Video on Demand service and increase their reach by 67%.
