Uniting NSW ACT is Australia’s largest operator of aged care, home care and retirement villages plus other social services.
Ms Burton will take over from Peter Worland, who announced he would retire in November last year after five years with the Not For Profit.
Ms Burton has over 30 years’ experience in the health sector, most recently as the Executive Director Eastern Hospitals, St John of God Health Care. She has also had a number of leadership roles in public and private hospitals and within the Catholic healthcare sector across NSW, Queensland and Victoria.
