The Not For Profit wants to build a four-storey residential building with 30 residential units, 18 two-bedroom units and 12 one-bedroom units on two blocks of land, a block from the Nowra CBD, 170km south of Sydney.
The accommodation, which is across the road from Uniting’s Osborne aged care home, will include 24 units for seniors’ and disability housing and six units for affordable housing ranging in size from 51 to 96sqm – quite small compared to traditional retirement units, but Uniting must have demand.
